This Privacy Policy describes how NeverMiss ("the Application"), developed by TemperedCode ("we", "us", or "our"), handles your information. Your privacy is a priority, and we are committed to being transparent about our data practices.

            Core Principle: NeverMiss is an "offline-first" application with optional cloud synchronization. Your personal tasks, financial notes, and attachments are stored locally on your device. We do not operate proprietary servers to store your personal task data.
        

1. Information Handling and Collection

We do not collect or store any personal data you enter into the Application (task titles, amounts, notes) on our servers. However, to provide certain features, the following may be processed:

A. Google Integration and Scopes

NeverMiss offers optional synchronization with your Google account. This requires your explicit authorization for the following scopes:

Google Calendar API: To create and update events for your routines. We use "extended properties" to identify app-specific entries and never modify or delete your personal, non-app-related events.
Google Tasks API: To manage one-time tasks within your chosen lists.
Google Drive API (App Data): To store encrypted backup files in a hidden, app-specific directory on your Drive.

Direct Communication: All data exchange occurs directly between your device and Google's servers. We never receive or store your Google account credentials or task data.

B. Media and Camera

With your permission, the Application uses the device's camera to capture document photos. Attachments (photos, PDFs, TXT) are copied to the Application's private storage. Uninstalling the Application or clearing app data will permanently delete these local attachments.

2. Third-Party Services

A. Advertising (Google AdMob)

We display advertisements. Google may collect Advertising IDs and coarse location data to serve relevant content. You can opt-out of ad personalization in your Android device settings.

B. Analytics (Firebase)

We use anonymous usage statistics to improve performance. No personal task content is transmitted.

C. Billing (Google Play)

In-app purchases are handled securely by Google Play. We do not have access to your full payment details.

3. User Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Regardless of your location, we respect your rights:

Access and Deletion: You can view, edit, or delete any data directly in the app. Signing out of Google stops synchronization.
Data Portability: Local task data remains on your device under your control.

4. Children's Privacy

NeverMiss is not directed at children under 13 (or 16 in specific jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware of such data being provided through third-party services, we will take immediate steps to delete it.

5. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The Application is provided "as is". TemperedCode is not liable for:

Loss of data due to uninstallation, device failure, or lack of backups.
Issues caused by third-party platform (Google) outages or API changes.
The consequences of missing deadlines or financial obligations. Do not rely solely on the app for critical legal or financial purposes.
