End User License Agreement (EULA)

Welcome to DogDiary.

By installing or using this Application, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement. DogDiary is a "Flight Recorder" tool designed for monitoring your dog's health, diet, and activities. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Application.

1. Medical & Veterinary Disclaimer

DOGDIARY IS NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE. The Application, including its "Allergy Detective" and "Fecal Scoring" features, provides data analysis and correlation tools for informational purposes only.

Results provided by the Allergy Detective logic are statistical correlations based on user-entered data and do not constitute a veterinary diagnosis, medical proof of allergy, or professional health advice.

Always consult a licensed veterinarian for any health concerns, dietary changes, or medical emergencies regarding your pet. TemperedCode is not liable for any health complications or misinterpretations of the data provided by the Application.

2. Data Sovereignty & Offline-First

DogDiary is designed with an "Offline-First" architecture. By default, all health logs, digital passport data, and attachments (scans, photos) are stored exclusively on your local device.

            Uninstalling the Application or clearing its data will permanently delete all local records and attachments. 
        

TemperedCode does not have access to your local data and cannot recover it if lost or deleted.

3. Premium Services & Cloud Integration

While the core functionality is local, DogDiary may offer "Premium" or "Cloud" features. These optional services allow for:

Secure data synchronization across multiple devices.
Off-device backups using integrated third-party platforms (e.g., Google Drive, Google Account API).

Activation of these features is voluntary. By enabling Cloud Sync, you acknowledge that your data will be transmitted and stored in accordance with the respective third-party provider's privacy policies. TemperedCode is not responsible for data breaches or service interruptions caused by third-party cloud infrastructure.

4. Digital Passport & Document Integrity

The Digital Passport feature allows for the storage of microchip numbers, insurance data, and medical attachments. You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of this information. The Application is a tracking tool and should not be used as the sole source of critical documents; always maintain physical or external digital backups of original medical records.

5. License Grant & Restrictions

TemperedCode grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use DogDiary for personal, non-commercial pet management. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Application or its proprietary "Allergy Detective" algorithms.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TEMPEREDCODE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM THE USE OF THE APPLICATION, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: VETERINARY COSTS, LOSS OF DATA, OR EMOTIONAL DISTRESS ARISING FROM THE USE OR MALFUNCTION OF THE TRACKING TOOLS.

7. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the developer’s jurisdiction. Any disputes shall be resolved within the competent courts of said jurisdiction.
